Biblioteka publiczna

Szkoła Językowa Doorway zgromadziła do tej pory mnóstwo ksiażek, które byly do dyspozycji naszych uczniów od momentu otwarcia szkoły. Obecnie udostępnilismy naszą bibliotekę również dla osób z zewnątrz, a to oznacza, że każdy, kto chciałby poprawić swój angielski, a nie jest naszym uczniem, może przyjść i pożyczyć taką książkę bez zadnych kosztów.

Nasza biblioteka

W naszej bibliotece znajdują się dwa typy książek opracowane przez wydawnictwo Oxford University Press – Oxford Bookworms oraz Oxford Dominoes.  Serie te są przystosowane dla osób o różnym stopniu zaawansowania języka – ich orginalny tekst został zmieniony tak, aby czytanie/rozumienie było prostsze dla osób o różnych umiejętnościach językowych. Do większości książek z obu serii dołączone są płyty CD (audiobooki), dzieki ktorym można posłuchać naturalnej mowy angielskiej, a tym samym cwiczyć sprawność rozumienia ze słuchu.
Seria Oxford Bookworms to książki skoncentrowane na klasyce literatury i dlatego są najodpowiedniejsze dla młodzieży i dorosłych. Seria Dominoes natomiast jest bardzo kolorowa i interaktywna, na końcu każdego rozdziału znalezć można ćwiczenia, co sprawia, ze najchetniej siegają po nia dzieci i  mlodzież. Do książek z tej serii dołączane są płyty MultiRom z dodatkowymi ćwiczeniami utrwalającymi.

Jak pożyczać? Wystarczy, że wstąpisz do naszego biura i zapytasz o możliwość obejrzenia zbiorów bibliotecznych. Nasza sekretarka pokaże ci, które książki są aktualnie dostępne i będziesz mógł wybrać tę, która podoba ci się najbardziej. Po wybraniu książki zostaniesz poproszony o dane kontaktowe (numer telefonu, adres mailowy) oraz o pozostawienie 20 zł kaucji, która będzie zwracana w momencie oddania książki. To proste, prawda? Możesz również pożyczyć więcej niż jedną książkę w tym samym momencie. Jednakże, należy pamiętać, że pozostawiona kaucja jest mnożona przez ilość pożyczanych książek.
